i just recently downloaded wmp 11 with the built in media streaming capabilities. i had my 360 receiving music and pictures through my ics connection to my computer. after a blackout i couldnt connect to my pc anymore. my xbox 360 cannot detect my pc. any help would be appreciated

After a blackout? Many times, before a blackout, there will be a power surge. Maybe your network card in the PC is fuxxored. Maybe in the 360. Maybe your router got messed up somehow. There are many things that could have happened during a blackout, and it usually doesn't bode well for sensitive electronic equipment. I could suggest trying a different router (or going direct-to-360), or even reinstalling WMP11-B2. Maybe some software got messed up during a write-to-disk?

It isn't a network card issue because I can still connect to live. Maybe I'll try to reinstall the software.

Try This, If your using a LAN connection, On the router end, Put the ethernet cable thats going from your Xbox 360 to your router in another Enthernet port in your router. That worked for me when Twonky Media fuxxed Up
