Media Centre 2005 - No Internet Explorer?

No offence bud but you should let Windows finish it's install... MCE is a bit different and I am betting IE is sittin' right there on disc 2.

I have installed MCE on over 5 machines and never once ran into any issues following MS's install to the end, then rebooting and running Windows Update from there.

lol, it happened to me too... you just need to insert CD1 again, press ok, and that's it smile.gif

Yeah, CD1 is "Windows XP Pro SP2".  If you use the first MCE2005 install cd with a normal XP Pro code (as opposed to the MCE code you have), you get an XP Pro install instead, and it never asks you for the second disk.
