Here's my overall experience with HOTMODZ:
Overall their service sucks. This is very unfortunate, because they do provide a very superior and unique product. I had originally ordered an XPOD from them before they were even out. After MANY months of BS I eventually got my XPOD. Okay, so I recently decided that I needed an XPOD Mini for one of my projects. I placed the order on the 27th of June. The credit card was processed promptly on the 28th of June. I emailed them down my custom graphic. So I patiently wait about a week. Nothing....no reply. I send an email......no reply. I look at the website; order still says NEW ORDER #2452. I send another email....no reply. I wait and keep looking daily. Lo and behold a few days ago the order completely disappears from my ORDER HISTORY on the webstite (www.hotmodz.com). I send an email AND call from the number provided on my credit card (312)560-5873 and of course get a voicemail from which I have received no reply. I'm sitting here, with $106 out on my credit card waiting with no single reply at all and no order in their system. This is beyond fish and bad customer service. Since I paid with a credit card AND through Paypal if I don't hear from them very soon I'll do a chargeback and report them to Paypal. This looks like the only recourse I have since Xport1 doesn't seem interested in answering emails or phone calls to his #.
