Just got my hands on a composite cable for my 360 man its awesome in HDTV...

quick question tho is there any way to tell its doing 1080i for sure cos it maybe downscaling it to 720p if im not mistaken....

also can i only change themes if iv got a HDD hooked up cos i cant find the supposed personalise menu???

If it is a CRT HDTV then it will only do 1080i.  If yours is LCD/Plasma then look at your settings.

As for themes, they are stored in the HDD.  No HDD=no themes.

A combination of what the other two guys said.

You can go in to the dashboard on the system blade and tell it what resolution do display at, but your HDTV's native resolution is what's important.  Your tv (if it is digital) will convert all pictures to it's native resolution.  You should find out what that is and set the system to display at that.
