I waste my time any longer with system mods and there one week off. So after I was told my order would ship out by this wednesday I decided to cancel. It just wasn't worth paying for 2 day fedex if it was gonna be like snail mail. I called them up and was able to cancel it. I can't say good things about their turn around time during the holiday season but they do have decent costumer service and it was easy to cancel my order.

Alright!

Just called SMT and they say they will be sending out my 2 month old order by the end of the week.  Does anyone want to run any bets that something happens and it doesn't get sent out.  I have my doubts.  Here is in best hopes...good luck to all of you with Pre-Mod Pro RMAs.  Its funny how after 4 or 5 posts I still have yet to receive a PM from one of SMTs reps to handle my claim.  Yeah, great customer service....woooo hooooo.

Hi All,

I konw that system-mods has a great reputation but my friends and I are having a serious problem. We ordered 7 chips before christmas and only 1 was shipped. We were charged the full price for the 7 chips and we've tried making numberous attempts to contact System-mods by emailphone (# doesn't work) but we've goten no responses to our problem.

If System-mods is reading this please contact me a.s.a.p. as i would like to get this resolved. mad.gif

I ordered from this place on 12/31.  I have been unsuccessful contacting them to find out when my order will ship.  Called them on the phone and left message, they never returned the message. They never answer the phone, their phone system asks you to leave your name and I have done so and then they always transfer me to voice mail.  Tried to send them an email asking about it and I just get blank emails.

I wouldn't have ordered from them if I knew it was going to take this long.

Now I am concerened because it's impossible to get in touch with them.

Update to a previous post- order #22772.  Rick from SMT recently contacted a few of us who posted our problems in this forum.  I appreciated this.  He asked to send him a brief statement regarding my missing chip directly to his SMT email address, which I have done.  He said that I'd need to fill out their RMA form for my broken ground board.  HOWEVER, their page still reads "Sorry, RMA's are closed until the end of the year."  They say it may take 48 hours to reply to a message... 48 hours is almost up for the message I sent directly to Rick.

**Here's a theory of mine-  They didn't have enough X2.3 chips to fill all of the placed orders, but they still wanted the money from these orders to add to their sales total for 2003.  Solution- ship partial orders, so that some product is received by the customer and try to straighten the missing chip problems out in the new year.**

Still waiting for something that was paid for half a month ago.......

I placed my order on the 29th on Decemeber and the item has still not been shipped.   I ordered this item with FedEX 2day shipping, because I assumed this was a professional outfit.  Apparently I was gravely mistaken.

I have attempted to email and call them with no success.  I assumed that a xbox-scene backed shop would be able to provide decent feedback and customer support.  I was wrong.

I will never order from this shop again and I would not recommend anyone shop from them either.

ORDER #22362

I am writing again to tell you that after almost 1 month of trying to get a reply because my x2 lite plus was not flahed correctly when it was delivered,  I still have NOT GOTTEN A REPLY!  I also left a voice mail and I have not got a call back!  You people talk highly about this company's support, but I get none.  I can't even return a defective chip.  This company is a SHAM!  I am out 52.00 because of them.

I would like to remind people that your ORDER # is REQUIRED when Posting a complaint in this thread.  If you don't include it.. you may expect to see your complaint removed.

Also.. this is't the place to be hyping your own SHOP.  Abusers will be removed.

We cannot always respond to everyones voice mail. You said you 'still have not gotten a reply' but specified no medium on which you delievered a inquiry. Had you merely tried to get through to our customer support via phone, you would have been taken care of propmptly. Please dont accuse anyone of being a 'SHAM' without giving a valuable effort yourself.

Our phone system is quite easy to get through to, so why dont you try calling back? Either way you will have to fill out a RMA (RMA should be open next week) if you want to replace a product.

Please everyone keep in mind that we were on vacation for practically 2 weeks over the holidays. Anyones order who has not shipped that was placed after december 23rd will be shipped very shortly. Keep in mind that we just got back from vacation and are working as fast as possible to get everyones orders out.

Thank you.
