Threatening with BBB action is the true mark of a person who isn't interested in a resolution. You are the typical "Unreasonable customer" who simply has a need to rant.

Im not here to flame annyone or cause any harm i simply posted my experience which is what this section is here for if you dont like it dont read it.   I am not a forum aholic and dont read these forums everyday i simply mod for freinds and co-workers and im angry with myself and modchipman.  At the time i was reading the thread about the fakes all modchipman was doing was making excuses about the chips being real which they were not (clearly stated by ubergeek).  You on the other hand have no right to critiec my post or my opinion.  If i didnt throw the chips away i would be going for a refund, ohh yeah one is on the dart board at my work with a bunch of holes in it.   I am not worried about the money i learned a valuable lesson about the mod-scene.  This is just a hobby for me and i already got some chips from another seller and my co-workers will be squared off tomorrow.  I dont care about you or your opinion why dont you just go derelek his balls.  They did wrong and no matter what they do this type of problem wont just go away nor will t be forgoten.  I ssimply dont thinkits fair to let it blow over.  
If we cant post  bad review without being attacked which is well deserved in this case then whats the point.  Ohh and if you want som True Customer Service ethics you should attend one of our seminars, in a situation like this the seller should contact ALL BUYERS and refund them without them having to contact the seller.  What about all those people that dont read these forums or the news? Im guessing they are all screwed.  Yeah this is a perfect company AAA rating. Yeah Right.  The seller should refund ALL customers not some and just simply take the hit.   You wouldnt know though derelekt your just a young gun with no business experience. Stick to what you know.  My opinion stands and you should mind your own business.  

I could have taken this to further extremes and contacted my friend at the Better Business Bureu and have her type up a nice review on the BBB web site.  But i didnt so let it rest before i step on my wrong nerve and i get the law involved.  Selling fake stuff is Illegal Not to mention theire entire PS2 line up.    

Go Derelek your self between the legs and shut up and btw You dont have to post , you can just read the forums.  Most of my questions get answered by me reading imnot lazy like most people and start useless threads about the same thing.  I spend about 10 min and read through them.

obviously you haven't read anything we've said:

we've already stated we are refunding any customer who wants a refund on their 2.2 pro that was shipped out the first/second week of december. These chips are faulty and will not work correctly, and therefore we've done all we can to notify our customers of the problem.

1) its on our front page on our site
2) its on the xbox-scene and teamxecuter forums that we are taking refunds/exchanges
3) we sent out a mass newsletter to our customers regarding the issue and have given them the appropriate modes of action about refunds/exchanges with this batch of 2.2 pros

Not sure where all your hate comes from, shit happens, and you can either make the situation better by working with the company that you bought the items from, or you can completely ignore all of their feedback and write hate-mail comments.

Once again, we are accepting returns/exchanges for all 2.2 pros that were shipped the first/second week of December. Most people are exchanging their 2.2 pros for a 2.3 lite (or waiting for the 2.3 pro to come out later this month)

we've always stood by our customer service, and continue to do so. If you have any problems, let us know in an email through our contact us page on our website, we always get things resolved with our customers.

how can you say I have no business experiance when your the one throwing away a defective product and doing nothing to resolve the situation with modchipman.  Do people with business experiance always throw away defective products? hmmm...

I am not critisizing your review, just seems like you have so much shit to talk but that you did absolutely nothing to resolve your situation.  You obviously didnt contact modchipman because your situation would have been resolved.  Modchipman has always responded to customers with problems and if you had used his live support link on the site you would have found that out.

My personal experiance with modchipman has been awsome, within one week of order I had my chameleon LE.  I remember I had a few questions about the chip, so I visited the tech support place of modchipman's site and got all my issues resolved.  Anyone with any business sense would of course take all actions possible to try to get a situation resolved, which is what I did.  Now i am a satisfied modchipman customer and will always come back for any mods I do.

the chips are fine, the thing is, try to program them with either the bios
cd or the x2 lite flasher.. (yes the lite flasher works for the pros)..

Well they are not fine and have been a waste of time and money and have disputed with my credit card company.....

I appreciate his return policy but I am not going to pay to send something back that doesn't work and then on top of that have someone lie to me about whether these chips are fake and will not flash......

So I expect a full refund ASAP and will never do business with this company again.....

obviously, you've already made this refund impossible when you've gone ahead and done a chargeback, in which the card company becomes a third party mediator that will resolve the issue.

I wish, I truly wish, that people had the decency to contact us for a refund so that we could easily process it and take care of the problem. I don't give a SHi@# about the chips, keep em, but at least we could have done a refund without a chargeback and the chargeback fee we will incur because of your rash assumptions that we are very shady/sneaky people.

If anyone really has a problem, and needs to get something resolved, I really do suggest just contacting us via email. If you want to return a pro that was defective, email us at [email protected]

Unfortunately, if you've done a chargeback, the card company will be contacting us within 24-72 hours with a form, we fill out, so on and so forth. And you'll get your money back, in a much longer duration than if you would have just let us refund you directly.

Anyways, moral of the story. CONTACT US BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING RASH. We arent here to rip you off, and we've tried to make this recall as smooth as possible. 99% of the people out there who have dealt with us in the past have had absolutely no problems working with us on this issue. The 2-3 people so far who have posted here with rash actions, none of them have contacted us for a refund. Of course we'd refund your order, it didnt work for you, if it was an xbox and it didnt work, we'd refund if you sent it in.. its nothing out of the ordinary with our return policy. You have 20 days to return for refund any product you've purchased if you dont like it.

also, on other news. As most have you have been shocked to see, the chameleon isn't available anymore on our site. Now this isn't because we're not selling it anymore, its because its out of stock (Chameleon LE). Within the next 1-1.5 weeks we should be getting more stock of the Chameleon Chips.

Hopefully everyone can wait for these chips to get back into stock smile.gif

first off, its modchipman..

this modchipman is excellent! i'd reccommend him to anyone!

before i ordered the chip, i emailed him with a question and he replied pretty quick

i ordered the chip (XBIT) on sunday (12/7)
i got an email later that night saying the order was processing
on tuesday (12/9) the chip was shipped, and i recieved it wednesday (12/10)!

if you look on his site, it says it can take up to 24 hours to process the order if you order with credit card...thats why nothing really happened on monday.

I have NO complaints, and like i said MCM is excellent. Speedy response to emails and keeps you updated on the status of the chip with emails too. And delivery was very fast as well! (i was especting to get it friday!)
