Install/repairs In The So. Sf Bay Area
« on: August 21, 2004, 04:30:00 PM »

I'm located in Milpitas, CA off 880 and Dixon Landing, drop offs available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat-Sun by appointment.

I only provide two services now...
$25 to install any chip you provide, you do the rest.
$40 to install any chip you provide, flash the bios, install dashboard and other software.

I no longer stock chips and will not order them for you.  You must provide the chip yourself.

I WILL NOT add any games, roms, mp3s, dvds, etc to your Xbox, don't bother asking.

All solder work comes with a 1 Year warranty... if one of my solder joints fail, or a wire comes loose I'll fix it free.  I do not warranty the chip you provide or the software that is installed.

I've been doing solder work for over 8 years and have modded PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, DVD Players and more.

Sorry I don't provide the drive, I do have access to 60GB, 80GB and 120GB drives for $50-$90 though if you want to buy one from me.  Also I think Fry's still has Maxtor 250GB drives for $120 right now... they are lockable, silent and a great deal.

I use to but not so much anymore, I rarely have time to play video games much less go out and party.   :)   As for music, I listen to everything but probably listen to trance more than anything.

Do you install a switch onto Xbox as well (to turn off modchip for Xbox Live), or does that cost extra?

I primarily use the Xenium chip which requires no external switch.
