What can I say?  BigZ does great work.  Fast and friendly.  He explained everything he was doing while I watched him work.  He gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Does anyone else think it is a bit odd that 90% of the "good job" posts for this guy are by "posters" who have like 0-2 (mostly 0) posts on this board, and when you click on their names, there is no info - kind of like if someone were to create a bunch of usernames and give themselves feedback.....

I can assure you this is not the case at all.  The reason most people have 0-2 posts here is because they came to Xbox-Scene looking for info and are very new to the scene.  Also I may be mistaken, but when you first register you aren't required to give other info such as AIM names etc.  Its only once you register and go to your Contol Panel that you can update those profile settings I beleive.

I'm not sure what your motivation is for such a false accusation, but I can assure you that all of these people are real customers.

And honestly do you think I would have a workshop like THIS if I wasn't legit?

That is because I just joined the forum.  I guess I should have asked stupid newbie questions to pump up my post count instead of using Search or reading the FAQ threads.

Looking at how you have 0 posts yourself, it's very "easy" to you seriously.

Now regarding BigZ, I personally know him, and I've seen the jobs he has done and completed, and I can assure you that his work is grade A material. So for anyone out there that still doubts him you can stop right about now, because he is legit and you have my word.

BigZ has no reason at all to create a bunch of usernames for positive feedback. He is very well known by a lot of peeps. Anyone knows that.

Look what he's done for the Xbox comunity. He's a part of the Slayers 2.6 TEAM, an OP on Slayers IRC channel giving countless hours of his time helping others and so on.

I've had the privilege of meeting him on two occasions and from my experience he's a great person to deal with.

Oh, the reason I have not had any posts here is because I can find all the answeres without being spoonfed. I just lurk in the background and read till my eyes bleed. wink.gif

Keep up the good work BigZ cool.gif

I was thinking to myself that I'm kind of stuck in a Catch-22.  I don't know if I've ever posted to this board before, but when I see someone slamming my guy, if I say, "NO, that's not the case at all.  He is great!", people will just write it off as another one of those people with little to no posts or who might even be him posing as multiple people.  So what to do?  I guess let me enlighten you a little.  You can treat this thread somewhat like ebay - a lot of people who have posted in this thread are not regular posters to the forum because they are simply writing to show positive feedback for their seller.  It's not like they are buying a kazillion things from people affiliated with this site.  Plus if you've had experience with BigZ, he is more than welcome to help people (especially people who've bought from him), with their problems and questions, because that's good customer service.  He backs up his product and he wants his buyers to be happy with their purchase so they can spread the word, so to speak, and he can get more business.  I mean, he's not just in this because he loves it, although he definitely seems to, but he's also in this for the money.  It's his business.  You're more likely to buy from someone that has good feedback and you're more likely to buy from somebody that one of your friends has referred you to.  Well, that's about all I have to say, but for future reference, before you go to slam someone (who you don't even know) or question their service which puts doubt in people's minds, don't do it.  Just walk away and know that you're a better person because you didn't resort to the tactics of most politicians.

I can't speak to cccheel's nonsense, but again, I will say this:  BigZ gave me quick and completely reliable service for my install.  He also answered any questions I had initially, as well as over the last several months that I've had the unit.  Once I found my way onto this board and found BigZ as a connection, 1 transaction was all that was really needed for me--and I really don't have a need to go onto this site for anything else.  I wholeheartedly recommend Z for service anytime..

Regards,

Yng

I wasn't necessarily accusing BigZ, I was just saying it looked fishy. However, after looking a bunch of these installer threads, it seems as though this happens quite a lot. Maybe I was just cunical because in another thread there was a case where the "people" leaving feedback all joined on the same day and had 0 prior posts.

I'll admit I am a lurker and a noob to all things xbox. I just bought a pre-modded box and have been just wandering around this site and these forums trying to learn something.

Sorry if I came off sounding accusitory, BigZ. No harm meant. Your pictures of your website speak for themselves, as do these other people taking up for you.

Hey, look at the bright side. If someone else was lurking around looking for amodder and had any reservations such as mine, at least now they would probably feel better buying from BigZ.

Once again, no harm meant. I apologize. beerchug.gif

This guy knows his mods, very helpful in every situation.  I appreciated the xbox work, and EvilzMods has the solution to your xbox problems.
