Kinda confused on pricing . . . $30 for the chip install, does that include the chip?  And now you do free HDD upgrades so if I mailed you an xbox and a HDD, how much would it be total to get it all installed, programs loaded up and set up, etc. and shipped back to me?

$30 is the cost to install a mod chip.
If I have some xecuters in stock then the chip and install is $70

So if you need a chip and it installed it will be $70 plus return shipping which can be from $10 - $17 depending on your location!

I had a problem installing an x2.3b lite for a guy, the box was fragging, so I tried my x2.1 pro and it worked fine.  I just sold him my modchip & bought another x2.3b lite.  I installed in my xbox and now mine frags!  Disabling the chip leaves my xbox solid green, no audio, no video, no eject.

Not really sure what to check now...  was wondering if I could bring it to you for repair?  What are your rates like?

Anyway I live in Clear Lake, but drive to UH everyday.  I can pickup/dropoff

Thanks.

Also, I have a funky 616t that I am looking to get repaired if you're interested.

hey phil, Im actually in Beaumont, about 2 hours away

but ive got a problem, and hoping you can help

i bought a v1.3 from this kid that didnt work

I think the hdd is dead or eeprom is corrupted cause i get error 9

I have a v1.0 and a matrix, but im not a solder god,

and from what i understand you have to be damn good at

soldering to get a matrix in a 1.3, its the Nvidea chip solder point thats hard

Im an expert at dashboard and gamesave hacks, but i cant put in a new hdd

in the 1.3 without a modchip, ive even tried hotswapping to no avail

I dont really want to buy a new modchip, so I was wondering if you can install one

of yours in it so that i can put in a new hdd, then I can just put a dashboard hack

on it, and take the chip back out.

If you dont want to put your chip in, i can just get you to solder my chip in it.

or if you have any other suggestions, im open

I like to go play disc golf at the woodlands when i can, so maybe I can come see you one day and make a discgolf trip out of it.

let me know,

thanks a lot man

Yes, I'd be willing to put a chip in so you can get the system up and going. Let me know when you come out this way.

Still modding, I'm out of chips, but, if you have a chip bring it by and have it installed in no time!

This guy is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.  I got my Xbox modded by cYon with a HD upgrade and it was done lightning fast and for a very reasonable price in my opinion.  I dropped off the unit at his house, went to get something to eat, and before I was finished he called me to let me know it was ready!  Even gave me a quick tutorial on how to use the thing!

noticed your site was acquired by customxbox.net (who I hope is good, as I'm planning on ordering some jewels from 'em).  Anyway, are you still doing mod chip installs in Houston?  If so, I may be needing to call on you if I don't start having a change in luck soon.
