In Need Of V1.0 Mobo
« on: October 15, 2004, 04:24:00 AM »

What's up everyone?  Once again I find myself in need of another v1.0 motherboard for a v1.0 XBox.  A co-working of mine bought this wonderful XBox from eBay.  Needless to say he got scammed out of $100.  The board that is in it has 2 bad scratches near the D0.  When hooked up, the power comes on then goes right back off.  Doesn't even power up enough to FRAG.  I did put a different 1.0 PSU on it and it did the same thing.  Anyway, if you can help me out, I'll get my buddy to jack off your dog for helping to fix his XBox.  <

Tom ( my budd ) said the guy told him it had never been opened, and it worked perfectly.  VERY far from it.  It looked like a mod attempt from a six year-old kid.  But the auction stated "As Is".  <

Contact ebay, becasue that is considered lying. If it says on the auction that it has never been opened and that it works perfectly, then contact ebay, because you didn't get what you payed for, ebay will most likely do something about it.   <
