Hello X-S members,
My name is Todd Mowery and I live in Texas. I'm wanting to test the market for Xbox Customizing. My question is this:
If I offered to paint your xbox and do any visual mods you requested would you be willing to pay for it?
My rates will be around $ 5-10 per Xbox. If you want extreme changes made to your x-box (redesigning the entire case) we will negotiate on the price.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My prices
DO NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF:Paint- $5 per can
LEDs- $0.50-$8 (depending upon the type of LED)
Cold Cathodes- varies according to type
extra materials (in extreme mods)
Shipping - $5 - $10 FedEx Ground (depending upon where you live)
So, if you wanted:
Your xbox painted 2 colors, your eject light LEDs replaced, and your jewel lit with a circular cold cathode.
The price would be:
$10 - paint
$6 - LEDs(give or take depending on what you request)
$8 - Cold Cathode
$10 - shipping (for those that live in the northern US, Closer to TX=Cheaper)
$10 - shipping (back to you from me)
$5 - My fee
---------------
$49 - Total------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: FedEx is not the only means of shipping
the post office is cheaper but slower
UPS is around the same as FedEx but they dont give a rats ass about your package
DHL is comperable to FedEx
Do some research and you can save some cash
I will have some pics of my work up ASAP and a website as well.
Reply and let me know what you think.
PM me with any requests for mods
EDIT: I am currently purchasing some XBOX cases so that i will be able to take requests and save the cost of shipping to me. Also if you request to have a case customized and send me your case you will get a discount.
Also, im working on making some bays for the DVD-rom and HD inside the xbox, a stacked desing, with an optional watercooler block inbetween them.
This is still in its alpha stages

so dont start ordering them yet I just want to know if anyone is interested.
