Didn't they say the same thing about mobile phones? I remember an advert with some guy holding a brick up to his ear and people saying they will never catch on.

As for the hard drive, Maxtors are cheap and I’m yet to see a problem with it drawing to much power and causing a failure, maybe its the user that’s causing the problems.

Ken Olson, president of Digital Equipment Corp made that statement in 1977, not Bill Gates (couldn't figure out if you were implying he did, or not).
