That's a pretty cool rumor...but XLA games can't be larger than 50 megs...it's an MS rule, there's an article about it in last month's OXM.

Possibly because they have to host them? Maybe that changes with the price increase over these smaller games.

It's so they can fit on a memory card.

It sounds like WoW on the 360 will be like EverQuest Online Adventures on the PS2.  IMO EQOA was better than the PC version of EQ because it was much easier to get into.  I was not a big fan of WoW on the PC, but I would definetly try it out on the 360.

Can someone say CHU CHU ROCKET!  That would be 10 times more fun than geometry wars.

WoW is not coming to the 360.  And hell, even if it did, it would have to be completely different.  I cannot imagine even attempting playing a mmorpg like WoW on a console with just a joystick and a headset.

However, with that being said, it might be something doable by those people who have never played massives on the PC.  I just don't think I could relearn the genre using a completely different control scheme.

Rumor 2: At next E3, MS will announce a parternship with Blizzard that will bring World of Warcraft exclusively to 360.

Although I've heard this rummor on several sites .. this one statement is HIGHLY flawed. Obviously WoW would not be EXLUSIVE to xbox 360 cuz that would mean no more wow for pc useres and blizzard would have to be smoking lots fo crack to do something like that.

The Dreamcast rumour would be fantastic if it became reality, especially if Sega were to add on leaderboards and achievements to games like Crazy Taxi or Shenmue - they could make a mint in downloads biggrin.gif   Some of the games like Chu Chu Rocket and F355 Challenge already had great online play, but I'd love to play Virtua Tennis online.  Doubt a 20Gb HDD would be large enough rolleyes.gif

Not sure why anyone would get excited over WoW being on the 360.  Lets face it, its actually just an average game on the PC, there's far better MMORPG's out there.

It would actually be far better suited for a console than perhaps a PC as it is quite a "pickup and play" game and doesn't take long to get to the top level.

Wonder if Blizzard would charge xbox users for using their servers?

That would suck !!
