QUOTE(dgizzy @ Dec 8 2005, 11:19 PM) View Post

Just a heads up, I went by my local Costco, and the supervisor called me in his office, because Ive gone by every day since the 2nd (when they were supposed to receive it) and showed me that there is 48 consoles headed to Gwinnet, GA tomorrow, and 72 headed to Morrow, OH. Both are supposed to arrive tomorrow from what I saw on the inventory on his computer. Maybe someone who lives there or near there can go by and get one, unlike myself!  and maybe pick one up for me!, and not rape me with inflated prices and jus make me pay retail smile.gif im serious too.  Let me know if anyone gets it at either location. Both locations should receive them tomorrow.

Is that Morrow, OH or Morrow, GA (because I'm not too far from either location in GA and they actually have a costco in Gwinnet, GA and Morrow, GA)?   If that is Morrow, OH, does that mean only two stores in the country are receiving them?  Also, where is your local Costco located?

Costco in Scottsdale AZ just told me that they "will get some before xmas, maybe next week". So this might be true, they might be rolling into costcos any day now.

I've never been to a Costco's before, out of curiosity, how do they work?

Is it like SAMS where you need a membership?

If at all possible I would strongly recommend trying to get your 360 at costco. I purchased mine there and got a great deal, not to mention their return policy if anything ever goes wrong. It came with the premium system, an extra wireless controller, a play and charge kit, and kameo (this can be switched for another game somewhere else). All of this for 479.

Definately going to check my Costco tomorrow. I hope they let me get a membership though. Anyone know the details of how that works?

Get the Executive. It's $100, but you get 2% back on your purchases. My membership is free each year, plus a shopping cart full of groceries.

Anyone can open up a basic account (probably must be 18 or older) regardless of your job. There are also business accounts that enable you to shop early. For basic membership it is $4x.xx for a year. Not sure on the business end though.

For $100 a year though, you can become an executive member and earn 2% back. You are also enabled to shop early. I am not sure of the exact times though. And if you do not get back the $60 dollar difference from the basic membership (or maybe the full $100, I am not sure) from the 2% rewards, they will cut you a check for the difference.
