well can we play mp3 from external USB devices, other than ipod?
like USB Sticks and external Harddisks?

yes.

it recognizes most mp3 players and digital cameras as a simple memory device...you can connect thumbdrives as well.

it's pretty light. NOT heavy at all. I would guestimate it at about 1lb.

It does get warm - I've had mine on for a few days straight, but not hot. I has a quiet fan inside the powerunit's case.

Ok I made an earlier post in this thread about some of the everytenminutes or xbox 360 contest winner boxes possibly being defective.....I came across a couple threads supporting this theory...Maybe they are just ditching the busted ones....

just like any computer, there is more wear and tear on the components during initial power-on. So I just leave my computers and xbox's on 24/7.

wow. you mean they gave away tens of thousands of xbox360 in the 10 seconds (and other) promotions and a handful of them had problems? that's hardly surprising.
