I know that a lot of people around here have been asking if they are legit, I know I was, and I decided to take the plunge.  Let me put your worries to sleep. They are one of the best dealers I have worked with, and with their great X2 and magic 3.1 prices, I will surely deal with them again.

I ordered an x2lite and a magic 3.1 on late Thursday 4/10.  I was informed that the x2lites were out of stock, and worked out a deal with him to upgrade to a pro (since it was for _my_ xbox and was considering it anyway).  The cool thing is that he sent out the magic right away instead of waiting, like most other do, until the order was complete.  He shipped out the magic on Friday 4/11 and the x2pro on Monday 4/14 (as I was informed in advance).  I recieved the magic on Thursday 4/17 and the x2 on Saturday 4/19. (I live in NYC, he is in Winnipeg)

overall, I give them around a 9 out of 10

The only area I feel they could use some improvement, is their website.  Since it is all we really see of a dealer, I feel people would trust them more if their site was a little more professional grade, and functioned better.  I am a bit of a website snob though (I've been in development for years).  I just found it kind of confusing, but it doesn't affect their great service.  If you would feel safer, I would send them an e-mail, and arrange to pay them via paypal.  They are very responsive.

now when someone does a search for royalmodchips.com on here, they will actually find something :)

If you are wondering why I put this in scam busters, it is because there isn't really a place to compliment a shop.  I figure that if people are researching a seller, this is the first place they would come, to get the dirt.

I know, especially when you are new at this, you feel nervious sending your money to someone you don't know, and I just wanted to give people that are new, a good place to get their chip.  With the lack of x2lites available in the scene recently, I was looking for this information on royalmodchips last week, but couldn't find it anywhere.

Thank you for the kind words.  I agree with you that our site needs an improvement.  I got a guy doing my new layout which should've been done few weeks ago.  But you know how people get lazy :) ... New site layout will be done hopefully soon and you will see a great improvement.  Once again...Thanks
