what freezes ? .. the actual game ? .. or kai ? .. load halo2 , than load kai , than go play ..

The game may freeze if XLink crash. I'm not sure what's causing it, but try to select the network adapter in the configuration tool. If that doesn't work try to reinstall.

are you using XBMC kai and hitting the Play button and its freezing there? .. theirs no way kai will freeze a game at the loading screen of a game , the only time kai even begins to 'talk' to your xbox is when you pick the system link option from the main menu , games are not "kai aware" .. in this order , load a game from under My Programs , go to system link , load kai on your computer , does the game freeze ? ..
