I had the same problem both under windows XP and Vista beta, If you are running Vista you must run Xlink in compatible mode, if you are using windows xp the only thing that worked for me was reinstalling Xlink. Good luck I hope I help a bit.

I tried reinstalling it like 20 times. It didn't do a damn thing. So what should i do? I have windows xp.

That error can come up for two reasons..First it'll happen if you're not logged in as an administrator.  Second, it'll come up if some other software (anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc) is blocking the PSSDK driver from loading.

shit.. you have to be an admin? Damnit. My dad isn't going to install it. Great.. just friggin great.
