Here's a list of some of the most frequently requested features for xlink one. Unless I really screw something up, all of these will be in the first release. If there's something else you think should be on here, post it!
The overhead that xlink one will add to packets has been reduced by more than 90%. As a result people with limited upload bandwidth will be able to host more people.
Adding somebody to your friends list works the way you would expect - they get a notification asking for permission, and they have the option to add you at the same time.
You can set an away message. People who have you on their friends list will be able to see it even after you sign off.
You can see the last time people on your friends list were online.
You can block people - their chat messages will not appear on your screen and they won't be able to send you private messages. This will carry over between logins.
You can ban people - they won't be able to join arenas you create. This also carries over between logins.
You can lock and unlock your arenas.
You can change the maximum number of players allowed in your arena after it is created.
You can transfer ownership of your arena to somebody else, so if you're getting ready to sign off people can keep playing.
You can grant other people moderator status in your arena. You can also make this permanent so they automatically have it in any arenas you create.
