i asume your talking about halo2 .. the most common reason for that message is ping , check the ping's of the people that your trying to play with .. make sure that u have everything on your computer closed that uses the internet (msn, limewire, torrents etc... ) as these things will have an effect on your ping .. make sure you play in the correct country area of halo2 as well ..
