No Host In Games
« on: October 03, 2005, 11:41:00 AM »

Hi, i am having trouble getting xlink to run correctly. I have the engine on my wireless PC running through a linksys router to my wireless xbox. I can ftp files and connect to the Kai lobby through XBMC. I can browse through open games etc etc. the problem is that when I load the game up no host exists. Kai is still running on the PC and the 'never' switch off option is selected in the config. Am I simply been dumb about this?

Cheers people.

what are you using to make the xbox wireless ? .. try wiring the xbox to the router to see if it will work .. also i would get kai working using the pc engine plus UI before taking the plunge into XBMC ..

I am using an ASUS wireless bridge. I had it all working fine then moved places reacently. The only difference in the new setup is that the PC is connected to the rest of the net via a wireless NIC.

Make sure the PC wlan nic is supported.

Read about "Incompatible Wireless Network Cards" here.
