I just recently got a xbox and softmodded it and installed evoX shadow c and xbmc. I installed Xlink kai yesterday and noticed that my xbox was undetected. I ran the diag and all was good except for the xbox that wasnt detected.
I had halo2 running and searching for games and the network properly installed. When i run xlink via xbmc i can see gameservers and all but when i start the game (halo2) i cant see any games. I have my xbox and pc connected to a router and everythin works fine, i can transfer files and stuff.
On the xlink forums i read that it may be the MAC address of new xbox that gives this problem the 00:12 prefix. So i installed configmagic and tried to change it, but it reverses itself whenever i exit configmagic.
I load the eeprom and unlock my hdd, then load the eeprom and change the MAC address. Then update the eeprom and lock my hdd again but the MAc address changes back to the orignal one everytime.
Can anyone help me?
