Have you tried using Kai on your computer first, to see if that works?

QUOTE
what is the ip that i use when they ask for the engine ip = 127.0.0.1 or the ip in the diagnostic page of kai..

Neither. Go read the XBMC guide. It will almost certainly be a 192.168.x.x address.

CODE
3. Once you're in the xlink kai settings menu, enter in your xtag and password info using the xbmc onscreen keyboard...

it doesnt tell me what ip to put in...plus the box is running on dhcp..
now there an ip given when kai is running in the normal mode..is that the ip i use..
engine ip = is that the ip in the diagnostic section of the kai program...

cuz it cant be my xbox ip because my box ip is not a static one..

some1 please clear up the confusion..

the xbox is properly connected because I saw the rss feed...

if it is a 192.168.xxx.xxx then where exactly am I looking for this data...

daggerx
the engine ip is the ip of the computer that you are running the xlink engine on...to find out the ip of your computer...if you need help doing so....

-> click on the "start" button
   ->then hit "run"
-> then type in "cmd" for command prompt
-> then once the dos promt has loaded....type in "ipconfig" and it  should tell you your ip address

then go to the settings on xbmc and type the same ip in the spot for the xlink kai engine....

hope that helps
