Do I need a Dashboard to play on Xlink ? Like Evox or AID

Is your network reachable? Yes

Are you using a port-forward? I don't think so

Is your console being detected? No

Brief description of your network setup:

I have Onboard and the other is a Cable card I have my Cable Modem running to my PC with a RJ45 I think?(The wire says Cat 5 UTP 24AWG 4PAIRS AND alot other other stuff)

The Cable card is running to my Xbox with a I think again a RJ45 Patch Cable

Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? I don't use a firewall.



I just got an Xbox its my first one I don't know what to do but heres how I got my Xbox hooked up tell me if its wrong.


I got the Cable modem linked into my computer with my Onboard Cable (Cat 5 RJ45 Cable)

Then I got a  Cat 5 Patch cable which I think is called RJ45 not sure hooked into my computer by a Cable Modem card and the other end linked to my Xbox

Is that setup alright?

Hold on I'm going to try the Switch/Hub set up frmo XBconnect and see if that does anything for me since I don't have a crossover cable.

There isn't a MAC Adress nothing is in the blank


I didn't buy it new but it can't be old because it has a Samsung in it.
