Hi there... Please post a simple diagram of your network setup with unit names, ip addresses, and model numbers.

Also post your kai configuration.

kai config: profile is engine only for dashboards, adapter: auto detect and lock ports r on 0, launch engine is the only check box ticked, got auto login enabled with user pass filled in, close engin after: never. xbmc is all set with the ip and all that.

ok network: i have a Dynalink RTA100+ with the stock ethernat cable linked to port one on the hub, th pc has a Intel Pro adapter with a ethernet cable linked to port 2 on the hub xbox to port 3 the hub is an Excell 8-port 10/100m Ethernet Mini Switch

Ip's: my public ip is 61.68.72.144 not sure if u need that one unless u wanna try an hack my firewall and nuke me or smth anyway pc is 192.168.1.4  xbox is same except 5 is the last digit im pretty sure the hub doesnt have an ip or assign any ips it just links everthing together

QUOTE(XL-OpBot)
If you are looking for how to forward a port try http://www.portforward.com Just pick any port say 30000 UDP and forward it to the IP of the PC running Kai!

Remember to edit the Kai port (leave the deep port alone).

ok i hooked up the port forwarding, and i remebered to edit the kai port and not the deep one, launched kai with ui on pc, and it didnt boot me when i try to enter an arena, as b4 it would kick me saying im unreachable. so ive done smth right. so when i try to launch kai as an engine only for dashboards xbmc wont connect to it

since u have added a router to the network maybe its running DHCP and your computer running the kai engine has a different ip now ?  just a thought ..
