2 Xboxes, 1 Laptop
« on: March 15, 2005, 09:56:00 PM »

I have a hub, which I think is the same thing as a switch.  I have had 3 xboxes connected to the hub which connets to my laptop NIC.  My Laptop also has a wireless USB adaptor to connect ot the net.  I just installed xlink on my laptop and it worked great.  As long as you can FTP into the xboxes, xlink should be able to see them.

first of all i want to know whether its possible to play online with two xboxes and one computer?
Yes. Up to 255 Xboxes on one engine.

Which one is better for that purpose? Xlink kai or xbc.
Xbc is shareware and NOT free on this area - atleast it wasn't the last time I checked.

XLink is freeware.

QUOTE
what kind of wires do i need and how does the setup look like?
You need this cable:

Found here:
Patch cables on eBay

Your setup will be one cable from the pc to the switch, then one cable from the switch to each Xbox.

Were you in the actual game arena? and games that are being played don't show up... you have to wait untill they're in the lobby.
