i don't think UIX has support for Kai as of now , their is disscussion of adding it .. you can use XLink completely computer free if you have a WRT router and the Kaistation firmware .. XBMC and Avalaunch can both be used as a Kai UI for control on the xbox .. no security issues , all that Kai needs is a port forward which is a very common thing .. www.portforward.com .. that is if you have a router ..  any other questions ?  :]

well i also have XBMC how do i go about adding xlink i think it already has it but im sure its out dated. and yes i am aware of what port fowarding is. i had to use it with Game Spy. btw can i just foward the ports to my box, load xlink to my xbox an go online or do i have to "have" special firmware for my router.
