Xbmc Engine Ip Address Question

I have two NIC's (one wireless and one wired) with the wireless hooked up to the internet and the wired hooked up to xbox.  When I have booted with the modchip off it works fine but with the chip on and running xbmc it will not work.  I tried to adjust the settings but it has not worked.  My question is this:  Is the engine ip address the public ip address from my wireless NIC (24.195.blah blah blah) or is it the static 192.168.1.1 ip address from my wired NIC?

The engine ip, 127.0.0.1 is local host.
