Kai On Wrt54g

just wondering how well it all works.  i've used kai on computer.  right now i got the b router from linksys.  was looking into getting g, but since i dont have a ton of wireless devices to use, only justification would be to slap kai on it.  i dont use public rooms.  just the buddy list.  opinions from wrt54g users?

I have 2 of the wrt54G's and I think they are the best consumer level wireless router on the market. As far as running Kai on one of them, Im looking into that. There's tons of other aftermarket firmware for them too.

I use this router also. But don't use kia station. I use the kaid mips setup and load it from the xbox using wrtcommander(script for xbmc).  Works great.
I heard Kia station only works if the xbox is cabled to the router, so I haven't tried recently.

Current setup:

WRt54Gs
2 wap54g Set in ap client
2 xboxs connected to waps
allows wireless play from both xboxs
