Does This Make A Difference
« on: December 29, 2004, 07:17:00 AM »

Yesterday I bought a Communicator headset. When in games or chatting in lobbies I don't hear anything and I dont think any one can hear me. When I signed up for kai I chose no headset in the options. Just wondering if this might be the problem and if so, how I can change it

No, the no headset setting is just cosmetic for orientation to other users. The game must have headset support, and you can only chat with users added as buddies in the arenas/lobbies.

you can also change your profile by logging in on the main webpage at www.teamxlink.co.uk and set it so it says you have a headset ..

What's this nonsense?

YOU DON'T NEED THE SPEEX CODEC! SPEEX IS INBUILT INTO KAI, AND SPEEX IS ONLY FOR PC HEADSET USAGE!

If you're using the XBox Live headset in Halo 2, look at this http://www.teamxlink...opic.php?t=4233
