I have a modded xbox with slayers installed.  I have X-link installed on my computer. I have registered.  X-link DOES reconize my xbox(im connected through a wireless linxus router) but i'm stuck there!  I'm not sure how i join a game.  Do I join through my computer or through my xbox?  I can see the arena's (and games) in xlink on my computer but if I click on them it does nothing for my xbox.  
I know I sound really stupid but reading the help didn't help me.

ok .. join the game arena on your pc that you want to play, make sure it has people in it .. load up the game on your xbox and go to the system link option .. play.

Thanks C-2,  I've tried that but when I click on system link it just connects to a regular single player game(when I tried Halo 2) or it says search for session or creat new session(in splinter cell pandora) when I click on search for session is says no game found.

I know I'm doing something wrong, I think I need a walkthrough. or a step by step to see which step i'm doing wrong.

the website has all kinds of guides .. so do the forums .. www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum .. did you change anything in the kai config ?  if not go into kai config and set your network adapter to the one your using and try that .. you may also need to forward a port on your router and set it under kai port , don't touch deep port .. www.portforward.com  should be able to help if you don't know how to forward a port ..
