Xlink With Avalauch Help

Well I have xlink kai set up and I have it working for xbmc but i would like to use it with avalaunch since it is my dashboard. I have set the user name and pass in the ava setting but what do I need to find the games and everything?

flexia: When you've done what DataBitz said, and are go for launch press back or red button and start the game. Easy as it gets.

hi.

i'm wondering the same thing.

i have kai set up on my computer, everything's ok, it recognizes my network and my xbox.

but where do i go from here? what options should i choose/change in my xbox?
i have a avalaunch dashboard and am connecting the pc and the xbox by two network cards.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw, i also tried this tutorial http://www.xbox-scen.../xlink-xbmc.php buti got stuck because the three different media centers that i downloaded, none of them had those lines in mediacenter.xml. should i write them there myself?

btw, when i open up xlink kai, at first it always shows that there is no connection. i then have to go to 'messenger' and 'arena' mode once and then return to 'diagnostics' and the network connection has been established. isnt that weird? i have to make two mouse clicks in order to make the network connection magically appear. if i dont do that (go to 'messenger' and 'arena' mode), then the 'network reachable 'will remain negative - which means 'not yet'. very strange. may there is no real connection, maybe its just a bug?

when i open up my xbox and choose settings > network > xlink kai > connect to xlink kai it shows a message 'kai client located at: 192.168.0.2' while at the same time a small notice pops up at my computer saying '192.168.0.3 Kai UI Attached'.

i then choose 'games' and select a game, choose system link and ... nothing happens. what gives?

(these ips are the result of my ftp configuration in order to transfer files to xbox).

maybe its these ips? are they correct? is the described process everything it should be?
