well that number is just an example.. you can really use any number they just suggest something high like that becuase lower numbers are used for other system services.

You only need to port forward to your PC's IP address.  So if your routers ip address is 192.168.0.1 then you put that in your IE address bar.  then just port forward whatever port you want to your PC's IP address that is running the Kai engine.

if you are having a hard time understanding how to port forward with your router, visit the manufactures web site, they normally have examples on there.

Just because you got page not found doesn't mean it's not working. You have to find out the IP of your router. Sounds like you've got a non-router default IP, and if you've got that, then you or someone changed it, so you should know the IP.

If you are directly connected to your router (wireless or by ethernet) you can get the IP address of your router very easily:

Windows 2000/XP

- Click the Start button
- Select "Run..."
- Type "cmd" into the Open box
- Click the OK button
- Type "ipconfig"
- Press the Enter/Return key
- Your IP address for your router should be the Default Gateway address (ie: 192.168.1.1)

Windows 9x

- Click the Start button
- Select "Run..."
- Type "winipcfg" into the Open box
- Select your network adapter from the drop down list
- Your IP address for your router should be the Default Gateway address (ie: 192.168.1.1)
