Yes you can use headset in Kai - both the chat and in-game.

If you want to use headset in-game it requires that the game has headset function in system link.

I'm sure if you got the PS2 headset to technicaly look identical as the Live headset the Xbox wouldn't mather. If it would work on the Xbox, it would also work trough Kai.

i believe you would need the adapter piece that plugs into the xbox controller .. i know you can plug any (mobile phone) headset into the adapter .. i doubt the usb thing would work but lemme know if it does :]

Headsets about 20 bucks without Live bundle....well worth the price too.

Well the xbox controller is just a gamepad / USB Hub so I beleve it would work if done properly. If your method is the proper one remains to be seen. Why not order usb adapter from ms for $7 shipped, then you could just plug it in.

I tried the USB adaptor that MS ships out for PSO with the USB headset adaptor with no luck. Although I only did try it with Burnout 3 so who knows.
