so, i wanted to give xlink an attempt before going to xbconnect...
overall i was pleased with the gui, and it seemed ok aside from a few annoying things that im sure i would have gotten used to.

so after a few days of xlink, i figure ill try xbconnect, just to see.
for 1, on kai, i get very serious lag when i host (3Mb down 256k up) which i know isnt blazing fast, but i should be able to host a 6 person halo game, which i can without problem, up to 10 people on xbconnect.

like i said, i dont want to come in here talking down on xlink, so ill stop here and say that i would MUCH RATHER USE SOMETHING LIKE XLINK, but id like to see it a little more user friendly, and im sure this thread will get flamed or whatever, but its just a heads up to kai developers, to maybe make the little tiny bar that opens the chat box a different color than the rest of the border, and a few other things which im too tired to go into detail about.

again, i love that the games just pop up and are there to play, and i dont have to sit at my pc to find a game, its just that for some reason, making private rooms,(not making, but getting the people on my friends list into rather)  and other things were more difficult than they needed to be.

that being said, i will keep xlink installed, and try it a few more times, but i hope there is some serious work being done to make it a more friendly program to play system connect games on.

XLink might not be lag free in Halo but I'm 100% sure that if you play any other game, such as Jedi Academy, then you'll be supprised by how much lag you dont get.  I played Jedi Academy and Crimson Skies the other day and it was a lot of fun.  If you really want as less lag as possible in Halo, then I would recomend xbc.  But in xbc, everybody only plays Halo and not enough people are playing cool games like Jedi Academy.  If you ask me, I think that the people at xbc are mad with power because they are given the freedom to kick people for any reason, or no reason at all.  What I'm saying is that the people of XLink are much more friendlier that the rude hosts of xbc.  Every time I beat a coky noob in xbc, they noob kick me.  But the people at XLink are just one big happy family who appreciates talent when they see it.

P.S.  Me and a few friends are gonna get together tonight to play Jedi Academy.  You can come if you want.  Lag free.

They are not your friends, if people go there tonight they will see me there, not you.  I have asked you kindly six different times, please stop pretending you are me and please stop taking credit for the things that I do.  On the x-link forums, I started the topics about Jedi Academy, so please stop telling people it was you.  It's not funny anymore, you have frustrated me and I have been nothing but patient with you.

First of all {{superfag}}, I did start a topic on Jedi Academy in this forum and not the XLink forum.  You obviously haven't seen it.  Second, stop following me around the forums.  And last, {{superman}} is my brother.  And since I own Halo and Jedi Academy, I have the power to take away those games from you, so stop insulting me in the forums or else you will never play Halo or Jedi Academy again!!!
