I've been playing xbc for quite some time now and just started playing kai about a week ago.  On average xbc has more people per game, more variety of games, and better skilled players...as far as Halo goes.  I don't play any other games online enough to make generalizations about them, but that's what I've found with Halo.  Kai is always slayer bg...run of the mill 2v2 boring games.  No creativity.  My favorite map is sidewinder...I prefer ctf's there, but slayer is fun sometimes too.  On xbc, I have no problem getting 3, 4, or sometimes 5 vs. 3/4/5.  If only xbc had the same interface capabilities as kai, it would be hands down my choice...xbc is still my choice regardless.

xbc ALL THE WAY. i play kai (in halo) and it lags like a bitch cause every1 is a noob and rushes the clock. kai is a great setup, but the users u run into make the experience turn into shit

actually its not.. i can't even host 1vs1 on KAI, because it lags so incredibly bad, its terrible, it eventually lags out of the game it is so bad -- on 1vs1!

but on XBC, i can easily host 3vs3 no problem..

So dont say its the hosts fault, i think its because kai's rooms are all bunched together in one

what's your up speed, even ... if you managed that lag is caused by large rooms why you don't create a room and wait for other players? In xbc you have no choice other than that so ...

i hope a major engine update (large rooms "issues") would happen soon like TD promised so all xlink "biasers" will not still have their "reasons" any more ...

I can't even play on Kai, the lag is so horrible.  I've tried getting help to no avail.  I've asked people in the same game as me if they had lag, and they say no.  I'm not talking about a bit of lag, I'm talking about the kind of lag you sometimes get in the beginning of games that clears after a bit.  I've heard the lag is better on Kai, so it'd be nice to use, but I've given up.

I'd like to put in my bit though..I like how xbconnect handles things.  That way you can talk before matches, know what the ping is to the server, have them say 2+, 3+ people, ctf, whatever.  In Kai you never know what you're getting in to.

you cannot sommunicate with the ppl u r playin with b 4 the game starts, u cant say wait for 1 more or agree on a map, its all for n00bs. i can host 4 boxes on xbc with no lag but on kai, i'd b lucky to get a very small game goin. u have to b a complete moron not to b able to set up xbc, and if u are then the only thing u cant do is h ost games, u dont have to configure n e thin to just join games, so yea xbc rocks

Good - No Computer Really.. Hosting Makes Sense
Bad - No Games Really...

XBConnect
Good - Easy Find Games, and Join, and Large Choice
Bad - Sit on Your computer, hosting is kinda weird

XBC should take tips from kai, i love the idea behind the main kinda public room on kai where everyone can host/join and can't get kicked. XBC should implement this idea.
