Rallisport 2 was really laggy for on someones server so i hosted one with a mate and it was still laggy, no probs on xbc

i'll try it again today

Just curious, where'd the XR8D servers go?  Are they in the clans area now?  Haven't played since the first night it was out, maybe I'll try to find them later (dedicated servers, mmmm).

I played 2/8 games lag free last night on KAI. (8 hosts... a least a game each.. )

So it is improving.

I'll  keep trying nightly... I want to see this work.

what were their average pings?

obviously this will have some bearing...just out of curiousity...

True.. however.. I wasn't looking for a specific game room.. or region.. or ping while looking for games.  I simply try one after another. (something made really easy with KAI!)  smile.gif

However.. on the PING issue.. I've played in RS3 games with ping from 50-400 with 8-12 people.. and have had no lag issues.. even with downloads going. (xbc though) However.. I would not recommend people run background downloads or other bandwidth cloggers while playing ANY service.

As for their specific pings. or even my own..

I couldn't say to tell the truth.  I would have had to look at the individual players to notice. if it was XBC.. I'd have glanced at the monitor from where I sit and could tell you.. but while playing via Kai.. looking for Pings is a bit more interactive. smile.gif

I know at times.. mine can jump up. (then settles minutes after being in a game.)

Didn't play last night.. so I don't know if your new update was available or not.  Will try again tonight.

when i played with some of the ss and xr guys last night, it seemed to run perfectly...

they commented it had been running smooth during their 2 hour session.
