Attaching To Orbital...
« on: May 23, 2004, 09:51:00 AM »

Evo7 will just do it's own thing when I log in.  It sticks at 'Attaching to orbital...' and refuses to do anything else.  Some other times, it'll flash back to the login screen for 5 or 6 seconds, and popup a message box saying 'Connection to orbital lost...' or something.  The screenie is below.

Any help?  :-\

I already have a tag.  I try to login with it, and I that's where it gets stuck.  I'm sure that my tag info is correct, because I still have the e-mails in Thunderbird.  It just either sticks on 'Attaching to Orbital...', or it'll bring me back to the login screen where when I try to re-enter it, my password isn't hidden, and that's when I get that dialog box error.

Tried this on two seperate machines (with COMPLETELY different setups) with the same results.

ok, im confused, because you are registered on the forums....

... i can see your post that is the same as this one.

but you still show in the manage user accounts as not registered.

perhaps you could try re-regestering under a different name to see if that works

I did that (and I'm 100% certain I got the e-mails from the registration--I still have them), however, I just re-registered and it said it's sending me an e-mail again.  Did the first registration not take or something?  o_O

Mkay.  I never got the registration email when I tried to re-register my Rickz0rz account, so I made another account (UnknownRealms) and got the registration e-mail and all.  Hopefully the Rickz0rz e-mail arrives soon.  Nonetheless, it works like gravy now.  At least my Rickz0rz account still works on the XLink forums.  :-D
