There tends to be a lot of bias in these threads particularly when you ask the question in one of the dedicated forums (this should have been obvious before you started this thread).

All that being said, when I do get a chance to play online I use XLink.  The players seem to be more mature (read: less kids or people who act like kids) and I can control the PC client from my television using BoXlink (the new Kai version will integrate with dashes supporting Xlink - XBMC and Avalaunch that I know of).  Control from the Xbox itself is important to me since my desktop is upstairs.  This was one of the reasons I never bothered much with XBC.

The only game I play on tunnels is Halo, so this is purely from my Halo point of view wink.gif Kai is smoother for the most part, though I've noticed a few people have better hosts on XBC than XLink. But overall, XLink seems smoother.

XBC has more users than Kai, though Kai's userbase will grow a lot once it becomes mandatory and the masses that are still using RC2 arrive. So no real winner there.

XBC has more features. Do you need them? Personal preferance, you decide smile.gif

If you like XBC and you like XLink too, like I do... Then do what I do, keep them both and use them both. If I just decide to play a game and have nothing arranged with anyone, then I open both apps and look which will get me a game fastest (so if there's rooms with space for me on XBC, or if there's UK PAL people in the room on Kai) and go with that one...

It's all personal preferance, but posting that here will get a 99% Kai vote, so maybe it's best to try for yourself after you've read everyones opinions.

I judge them like this.

Xlink (Omega and Kai) #1
Live #2
XBC #3
GameSpy #4

For some reason I can never get my XBC to work properly. I have 5 brothers that all play X games on line and xlink is the only system where we can all connect to the same game. For some reason XBC will not allow one of my brothers to see or connect to my games I think because we are using the same ISP and on the same network. Xlink has NEVER given me any problems at all. Also, XBC and GameSpy are both memory and CPU hogs. Check your computer performance when you use each system and see for yourself.
