Taz, we are discussing this within the group. There is some interest. Personally, I think it's a great idea. Structure, schedule, convenience, rankings....Lots of good things to be had through league play.
Can you give us any specifics to chew on?

Basically it will be a league consisting of 4 teams in a division.
so if there was 16 teams there would be 4 divisions (division 1, division 2... etc)
all the teams in your division play each other twice in a season. (home & away)
the home team arranges the server the maps and the rules. (there will be certain rules that must always be in place)
The games will always be 4 vs 4 but you can have more than 4 on your team so you can have an home and away side for your squad or taylor it depending on what players you may have to meet.
As far as groups and clans go you can have more than 1 team in the league, however try to keep transfers to a minimum once the team is setup. (ie. no transfering your star player from your division 1 team to your division 4 team for one match then transfering them back before the start of the division 1 teams next match)
For the moment that is all i have, got some ideas of how things should run and how the matches will be schedualed and things.
Im running a topspin league so will probably try to mirror some of the aspects from that, but i feel that it will be up to the team capains to make this work with myself helping with the co-ordination.
