I ment no disrespect, but it peeves me off when you see 30-40 people read a post  of someone asking for HELP and not one of them can make a comment, be it large or small.
I myself always like to try and help someone in need(maybe I expect too much from others?)

anyway thanks for your response  Jz28  beerchug.gif

The tone of your post was way off line.

The people who support this forum do so in there free time and do so without any financial remuniation.

Your question was specificly addressed to people who could help you.

All you needed to do was a post a quick bump, perhaps an update to how you are getting along with your problem.

but you choose to be sarcastic.

Ever been to a pub and said, "any chance of getting served this year?"

did they move any quicker... No
in fact they probably slowed down or didnt serve you at all.

Taz is spot on. And from this point forward, anyone with a demanding tone will have their threads locked and garbaged. I am not here to teach people manners, and neither are the other mods, we simply dont have time for it.

If you are unsure about what to say in a thread, read the forums rules, and our own rules posted here.

I wish I could answer everyone's questions, but I have the most free time it seems of the crew, and I only can do so much with modding this forum, being op and answering questions in avalaunch's and xbox-link's channels on efnet. Stuff is very very time consuming, and the one thing that makes me more angry/disgusted than answering a question that can be easily found by looking, is having to deal with someone who is demanding help because they think their problem is more important than others.

"/end rant"

Guys I apolagise if what I wrote came out the way it did.  I understand that people have other things in there life and I do appreciate the help when given it.
I never ment for anyone to take it personally.

By the way I really was not demanding help, I made a quick non thinking statement, and gave up on the thing. In no way do I demand that someone respond. If someone wants to they will. Unlike a pub where they are paid to serve you
(Have you ever been frustrated with something and said something stupid in haste?)
I will be carefull the way I word anymore post.

Thankyou for taking the time to listen

Thanks for posting back to appoligise, hope to see you around sometime.

btw... Money has very little to do with it the person in the bar is paid to serve drinks, not to take abuse, I have worked part time in bars to scrape a living and its not fun working unsociable hours for minimum wage, and then some asshole comes up and starts demanding a drink.

and yes I have said somthing in frustration and regreted it afterwards, I think everyone has at some point. but at least you have taken responsibility for your actions.

Hope you manage to sort your ping problem out.

Perhaps you need to find someone on XLink in your area, preferably on the same ISP you could test it to see what kind of ping you get.

Try stripping your PC of bandwith hogging programs. (even Instant messenger pograms like MSN can slow things down)

Check your PC for Spy/Ad Ware.

All these will help reduce the ping, but perhaps not enogth to make a major difference.
