This isn't another stab at the Xr8ted clan because I now know that they are respectable players, but just thought id post how bad cheating has gotten.  I played a few games yesterday.  ALL of the games had cheaters.  One guy just threw molitovs the whole game.  One guy had some kind of new hack where he could use a G3A3 but it was a diff gun (diff bullets) and it shot faster and he never reloaded.  I know this because he was on my team.  I give up on Rainbow Six 3.  What a great game to have fucked up by idiots.

the deal is sorta like this, if you ask me...until there is some reporting system in place, and its easier to stop cheaters from getting new accounts on xlink, just play with people you trust. Everyone on my messenger list is someone i trust, so i just play with them.

if i wanted to play with random strangers more, dont get me wrong, i would play on live all the time.

Ya I know, and I know that sounds like whining/bitching but damn im sick of all my favorite games getting hacked to death.  Ya its fun to try new things and edit ini's and all but fuck.  In a porche and a mini runs buy you at Mach2.  Id just like to play new people and meet new people.  I used to play SOF2 on PC.  Used to.  Sheep made a patch called demo buster but then nobody would use it so it was totally pointless.  Owell, just complaining

nah, i dont think youre bitching, i can understand your frustration, i wont play new people usually (just joining a random game that is) because of my fear of cheaters.

that and i am totally anti social, but lets not hang on that issue.

If i enjoyed playing with strangers, i would definately play on live, cuz then i wouldnt have to worry about it (as much) and then something could be done to make the game fair, via patches.

Come play with us in our rooms heet and anyone else who plays fair, I must admit once in a while a cheater might make it into one of our dedicted servers but we teamkill them promptly.

Some of our more noticeable hosts are Boxorox/BOXO-XR, Prophecy/PROPHCYXR, Dropknee/DROP-XR, XBOXGEEK, Prestige/ PRSTG/XR,
J-dawg/J-DOGXR, Xoom/XOOM-XR, Pieces/PIECES-XR

As Seven said, we try and keep our servers free from cheaters and hacks. Sometimes a couple get in but we soon deal with them  

Don't get too disheartened and walk away from a great game. If you do then the cheaters have got the better of you. We as a group can deal with this, if we show them that in our rooms we won't tolerate their behaviour, hopefully they will get the message.

We as members of XR are still working out the official policy on how to deal with cheaters, as well as a code of conduct for in game play. Once this is done I am sure Seven wil post the details without delay.

Until then look out for my dedicated server or indeed any XR hosted server for cheat free play *guaranteed or your money back* .

I dissagree I dont think a name and shame post would do any good apart from force the cheaters to be even more sneaky, by using multiple XTags.

The way i see it there are a few things that we could do.

Implement Suspensions and Ultimatly bans on offenders xbox. For any antisocial behaviour.

This would need to be structured and delt with farly for both victim and offender.

Perhaps a 1 week, first and final warning suspension
and then if they persist a total ban.

Obviously each case would need to be addressed as with anything like this it can be up to abuse perhaps we need XLink Cops to investigate and monitor activity plus XLink Judges to review the evidence and issue judgment.

Or we could just go round and break there thumbs.  try and play then.

I just got R6 the other day and haven't been able to play it much yet...  I found out about Xlink recently and really want to try it out with R6...  Are there any servers that are "noob friendly" in that I can join and take some lumps but also not have to worry about getting killed every 3 seconds?  Or am I better off just practicing for a week and then trying it out?

I'd never stoop to cheating, and while I'm not the life of the party type, it would be cool to play with other fun people via voice etc...

I went straight online with it.  Just come on in......If you want, join an XR clan game.....let us know you're a noob and we'll give you some tips while you play on our team......it's all about fun man!!!  Join on in!!!!
