X-link Doesn't Login - Cpu Hogging, Can't Find Xbo
« on: January 04, 2004, 01:38:00 PM »

Well, Im running Clark Connect, also a Linux based router.  Had similar problems.  Heres a stupid question, is the XBox and Computer on the same subnet?  Also, how is the comp getting its IP, DHCP or static? I did get it working, but I did like 6 or 7 things, and I forget the order.  Ill dig in my logs tho and see what I did and get back to you on here.

I'm not sure why the UPnP Init failed. I have a Linksys BEFSR81 and all of the port forwarding settings are setup as specified.

someb0dy,

The XTest is fine, the CPU hogging maybe solved by using the latest exe version from a pinned topic. That should fix the CPU hogging issue and let u get logged in.

Also, dont worry about the UPnP init - its fails on 99% of routing setups..
