heh, this really shows the caliuber of people that are on the xbc "team".... shit

this is why we dont resort to their tactics of deleting threads...

even td said that every thread mentioning x/s gets deleted or locked on their forums...

Let me start over, I may have gotten a little abrupt.

XBC is free. It always has been free. We have NEVER made anyone pay for it. People Buy XBC because they support us and our efforts. We buy our hardware. We buy all our software. They support us. We support them. We support the developers that make software we use.  Xlink had a donation button too. For what? Flat told me to help with costs at first. There is nothing wrong with that. Just like XS and XBA need banner ads to pay their costs. I havent been to your site in a long time so I can only assume its taken down.

We are clearly headed down seperate paths. Thats fine.  At times flat was a lot of fun to talk to. He is a smart guy. We would share information. Then I would  find you guys posting that we 'stole' it on these forums. Or accusing XBC users of sending your users viruses. I am not sure what the motivation behind this was. Maybe you can tell me?

Maybe some of this gets blown out of proportion. I'm sure that happens.

/*
Update: I stand corrected. The donate button is still on your website
*/

site is still up.

a search from google for xbox tunnelling finds:

http://www.xboxlink.co.uk/

as the first hit.

and I dont know too much about people sending viruses or any of that stuff, but I do know that we have lil' drive by trollings all the time both here (mainly from the ops of xbc) and on our irc channel (from fanboy users) that deserve all the criticism that they are given via the flames here.

td works hard so that no monetary support is even necessary.

I understand that this is hard to do for devs, but as a user if I want to pay for tunneling, I will just get live.

grr.gif  xbc ops and devs also spend lots of time doign things also and coding software and we both do exactly the same thing.

Listen all you kids ( jester.gif ) lets end this and be friends... together these two tunnels can co-operate and maybe make something together in a futrure project . SO PLZ people lets just sit down and have a beer , because these 2 progs have made xbox tunneling very popular.  thanks for reading !

wink.gif. J/k, but when 2 other tunnel apps get a 'war' with us, it might seem that we are the troublemakers instead of them.

well, thing is, xbc and xlink wont work together, this has been said before, the philosophies are completely different, you just need to accept that.

as for flame wars, if people werent trolling the boards (our boards), looking for trouble, there wouldnt be any.

guys at warpipe are self-righteous it would seem, and anyone that just all of a sudden says "lets just be friends" hasnt really taken a good look at either of these 2 situations.

we can drop it this time, as its dropped everytime... but that wont change the fact of how these (both warpipe and xbc) guys act when criticized.

tongue.gif

99% of tunnel users are pirates, and the same 99% are going to pirate your software if you try to sell it, you cant avoid it
