It Just Freezes

Hi,
I'm running avalaunch, I have a DHCP server that gives me my IP!
When I open xlink or xbclink all it says is awaiting connection and then I can't do anything and it is frozen. Avalaunch lets me do anything online so I know it's not the connection. ANY HELP I really want to try this out

FYI, when it says "Awaiting Connection", it's awaiting the connection from XLink, not an Internet connection.
