Hi, im having problems seeing any xlink games. The xlink software sees my local mac address and I have noticed remote mac addresses appearing but I simply can't join any games using xlink.
My current setup is adsl router with built in switch and dhcp server on it. PC and xbox cabled into switch and assigned IP addresses correctly. UDP Ports 8602, 34518 and 34519 forwarded to the PC's IP address. Halo works fine on XBConnect and Ghost Recon did aswell, not tried any other games on there recently as only Halo seems to be played.
I can log into the xlink software without problems and see what games are running etc.. just when I tell my xbox to look for a game it never shows any.
I have tried running the software from a win 2k pro pc and also win xp home pc (after amending port forwarding) but while they both log into xlink without problems and both will play games using XBConnect, I can't play games using XLink.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as I am stuck now as I don't know what else to try.
