Xlink so far has some folks playing a little of everything.  Although it's 2 or 3 servers for each of the games you mentioned.  This is still more than the other tunnels where everyone appears to only play halo.  When do you usually play?  That would greatly determine how many people are online.  

As for voice.  It is definitely supported and a must for Rainbow Six I think.  That game is amazing!  The voice just makes it soooo much better.
