QUOTE (flat235 @ Oct 23 2003, 04:59 PM)

The fact that u have the userlist and a undocked PM window open aside on that screenshot. Even the way u have it layed out there, which was meant just to show all the *possible* windows, it's better... sorry... it just is..

Also, modded box?? Xlink does not, and will never need a modded box... If you think it does, you're stupid..

"Next.."

TD

ROFLMAO

what do you mean you have LOL this is an image on YOUR WEB SIGHT as an example of what XBLink is run.  Not a screenshot on my computer.

LOL you don't even know what's on your own websight?  If it is such a bad example why are you using to show off your program  uhh.gif

And everything I see here loooks to me like you are moving to a system that requires you to mod a box to have the join screen show up on your tv and you don't have to go to the computer?  Isn't that "the future of link" correct me if I am wronf.

BTW calling people "stupid" is no way to get more users.  Are you 14?  Why the attitude.  If I am wrong explain it to me.  I guess I must be to "Stupid" to use your program.  No wonder you have a small user base  sad.gif

When is the last time you have seen ME attack your software or your service or your character?

Countless times on your forum.. whenever someone started a discussion which involved xlink, and u closed / deleted it for no reason, and I spoke up about it....

5.) What ideas have u stolen... your "compression" is our packet cache... plain copy - just a shame it doesnt work for you.. Fuzz's voice app - voicestream ripoff.. port holing.. cam about after one of your ops came to me asking for xlink info because he couldnt host on XBC after he went to college.... you know who i mean.. "improved buddy list" ... getting the point?? Basically, everything u've added to XBC since XLink launched, you've taken from us... if only you could make it all work right... I know - I offered to help u with all these things at the time - you always refused - which is your choice... but then u turn round and implement these new things and claim them as big breakthroughts.... you also lie to your users... "15%-20% Halo Performance Increase" ... I Etherealed it - no difference whatsoever..

6.) SuperDaimyo. Nobody wants to tear the tunnelling scene apart.. but lets face it - it's hardly going to get unified - is it? We would have been keen on doing just that at one point (again - if the old XBC boards were up - i could have linked u) .. The truth is, every day i get literally 40 or 50 emails of my users who point out the *utter bullshit* that XBC users talk about xlink and other tunnels...

I've just had enough of ure bullshit..ure just a bunch of money grabbing commercialists who're only interested in the $$.. if ure userbase and code team wants to go it with ours, fine... lets go....

no offence to anyone.. but everyone sounds like a bunch of babies..

Those XBC guys aren't change their mind about their product, and those of us who use XLINK aren't going to change because their giving away prizes..  so who cares?

XLINK is for those people who know better.. and XBC is for those who do not.

Kinda like LINUX and Windows..

So even though I would like more people on XLINK, I am glad that those XBC people are not.

nuff said..

You dont get it do u?? I dont *Want* you as a user - becase you *are clearly stupid* ... we arent a noob training colony like XBA...

And no, the future of XLink is the Kai series - which will, again, have a Bo-XLink component... it is provided as a convenience for our users who happen to have a modded box.. surely u arent jealous are you?? I offered to help XBC make one for XBC - but they wouldnt play wink.gif So i made XBC-Link - more as a tech demo than a "user getter" .. after all.. its plays XBC, not XLink..

What a dumbass.  Nice way to run a service.  This shows you have no helping skills what so ever and talk just to hear yourself mumble on.  Yea XBA is so noobish but is xbox.com's #1 affilate.  Get a life

why would you want the support of ms anyway? so you can be the little man in the corner? Xbox Live's less attractive cousin?

Personally, i think the homebrew scene should have even less respect for you since you like snuggling up to them.

No one really cares if you have corporate support...really. You are still on your own with XBC, and no one is going to help you make it any better.

QUOTE (SuperDaimyo @ Oct 23 2003, 01:31 PM)
Hahhaa I made more money off a game of monopoly than xbc, which is ez coz we dont get paid.

Meh, Flat, I wont say we are righteous, but as far as I know no one tried to steal your ideas. Jeez sorry if you guys find xbc lame, we are just trying to do our thing nahmean.

I got so emotional when i first posted i lost track of basic truth. The main reason I believe xbc couldnt associate with xlink was coz of the modding connotations the prog had.

Dude, last time another tunnel came around and caused a rift, a crew of antixbc peeps were formed. When that tunnel failed someone DOSed us off of our brand new server and now we cant find a home coz of it. Everyone suffered because of one kids beef.

If peeps need to rebel, or create an enemy (like GS) then there is nothing we can do eh? I am flattered you think xbc is big enough to hate on  ph34r.gif   Look forward to your respnse  biggrin.gif

I think there have been a lot of comments made in this thread out of passion for product.

TD's initial comments were not a flame, but apparently you guys have to comb the forums of his app, without ever posting anything useful to help anyone. This is obvious by your post count. Please, although this has all be very educational,  rolleyes.gif , head back to whatever hole you came from, be happy with your app and all its users, and spend your time more wisely than trolling.

It will be appreciated by all.

And I dont care if you make 1 dollar or 1000 dollars off it, my point was that TD makes NOTHING off his, and there is essence to that kind of selflessness that makes people happy here at X/S.

Something about people creating things with their own time and resources, so that everyone else can enjoy free of charge.

I don't know what else to tell you. But I can say, that none of your comments have been helpful to anyone today, and that all you have done is wasted development time that could be put into fixing bugs in your app, or answering the users you ignore in the forums that support you here on X/S.

On behalf of everyone, thanks.

As I said above, please try and make yourself more useful around here, Shanafan could probably use the help.

You are wasting your time.

I guess I might as well have a little word on this too...

Flat235:
Not to be the guy who brings up old stuff, but if I'm not mistaken, this type of thing happened all the time on the XBC forums. Now when we actually post on a topic that started out as a flame toward us and not based on facts, you seem to become angry because we've posted on "*YOUR*" forums for "*YOUR*" members to read. We were pretty forgiving on the XBC forums unless it dealt with modding or if you promoted your tunnel. Near the end there, we didn't touch one post of yours about XBC-Link or Box-Link.

All I'm saying is that there is no need to start a flame war between either client. We have never done so in the past. It has always been you to start them. We're not out to hurt your client and don't have to flame your client in order to get members. Why try to do the same to ours?

As I've said before, I respect your work that you've done on your client. There's no flame here so please don't take this as one.

oh boy user stats LOL.  If you look at my earlier posts it was about set up and how the program works, I didn't get many answers, there was a home sight revamp and instructions so I continued with other tunnels not knowing the x link home page update then I still was a little confused with the explinations.   Even in those posts I was never told:
