Just a quick question.

Is it worth getting onto XBOX Live with an Xbox1 this late in the day?

Where can I get an XBOX Live account/starter kit from (Australia)?

Whats the take up like of people still playing xbox1 games?

People still play lots of xbox 1 games online. "xbox 1" live is not dead. I still use live on my original xbox!

Your best bet would be to buy a kit in the B/S/T or just look hard in stores. Some retail store still have them, but most don't.

most store still carry xbl for xbox1!!! plus if it comes down to it. if u got paypal ill sell u like 3-5 2month trials if u like.

Some games are compatible from 360 to original xbox like halo 2 for example

So definitely not "dead"
