It sounds like you are running an ISC to your computer. A crossover cable literally flips the wires at each end. some computer do it automatically. This will allow you to access live, but as s8n said you must turn you modchip off before you go on live or you will be banned within a few hours of logging in.

On Pc's wink.gif my Mac did it and I had no idea, but you are correct it is still a rare thing, seeing how macs are pretty rare biggrin.gif

Ghost rider post back and update us on your situation, if all you needed was a crossover cable you should be able to pick one up at any local electronics store.
